Towing prices vary because tows vary. A car rolling freely in a flat parking lot two miles from the shop is a different job than a vehicle stuck in a parking deck at 1 AM that needs to travel forty miles. We won't publish a flat rate that wouldn't be honest for your call.
Distance
The biggest single factor. A short local tow and a long-distance tow out of the metro are fundamentally different jobs in fuel, time and routing.
Where the vehicle is
- Open parking lot versus a parking deck with height limits.
- Interstate shoulder with heavy traffic versus a quiet residential street.
- Whether the truck can get close enough to load safely.
- Whether the pickup requires working around other parked vehicles.
The vehicle and its condition
Size and clearance matter, and so does condition. A car that rolls, steers and shifts to neutral loads differently than one that does none of those. Low-clearance vehicles need a more careful approach — one of our customers specifically noted the care taken with his lowered car.
Service type and circumstances
A jump start, a tire change and a tow are separate services. Time of day, traffic and weather affect how long a job takes. Atlanta traffic in particular can make a short tow a long assignment.
How to get a real answer
Call with four pieces of information: where you are, where the vehicle needs to go, the vehicle's year/make/model, and what happened. Call (404) 915-3463 for service information about your situation.
